The forged Titleist 775 CB Irons are mainly ready for 15-handicappers who want to be a single-digit within a year, or for the has-been scratch player who finally realises the low 70 scores is a once-a-year occurrence. If you are lucky enough to listed in this line, then it will be the best time to solve these trouble in 2012. More Titleist Discount golf clubs are available here.
Those cast stainless steel irons were plenty forgiving, but still had a crisp design that said "I'm a serious golfer." A thin face insert is used along with a forged aluminum bar across the back of the face. This bar - which is anodized a deep red and really stands out - is meant to dampen vibration and reinforce the thin face insert. The forged stainless steel used in the 775.CB irons is not as soft as the carbon steel generally used in forgings, but it is also more durable and resists rusting. The cavity of each iron also has a area that has small metallic swirls that look like milling marks. This gives the irons a busy look that won't appeal to a blade user, but is in line with the "visible technology" design cues used on most other game-improvement irons.
The Titleist 775 CB Irons is blended (deeper cavity, more perimeter weighting and forgiveness in long irons, transitioning to mid-irons with channel backs and short irons with shallower cavities) and designed to produce a high, straight ball flight. They also have a slightly oversized design, but moreso in the long irons than in the short.
They also incorporate different hosel lengths, with the 3 to 7 irons having a shorter hosel to better help trajectory. Titleist has long kept their irons fairly straight forward, and these are no different as there is not much offset in the hosel area. This clean, classic look gives confidence to not only the better player, but average golfers as well. These really are great looking clubs for being in the "game improvement" category!
The stock shafts for the Forged Titleist 775 CB Irons are the NS Pro 100 (112g) steel shaft and the lightweight Titleist 3970 (70g) graphite shaft. Titleist Tour Velvet Cord is the stock grip. Custom option exist through Titleist Custom.
